What are OOFOS?

OOFOS are the original active recovery footwear brand providing ultimate comfort, designed to support your feet and make you feel good!

After seeing a need not currently being met by the footwear industry, OOFOS were invented by a team of footwear veterans from the largest performance brands. They engineered OOFOS to help reduce load and stress, so your body can rebuild throughout the day. OOFOS are powered by our proprietary OOfoam™ an innovative, cutting-edge material that absorbs 37% more impact designed to help you recover without slowing you down.

What is the difference between OOFOS styles?

The benefits of our OOfoam™ technology are available in every pair of OOFOS you choose! We have six different styles to choose from: slide sandals, thong sandals, shoes, clogs, slippers, and boots. Here’s a guide on some of our different styles:

Slide Sandals

  • OOahh:
    • Slide style sandal with a medium width unisex footbed. The slide features a horizontal strap that secures the foot over our patented footbed.
  • OOahh Sport Flex:
    • Slide style sandal with the same medium width unisex footbed as our original slide. The slide features a sleek adjustable upper strap with a hook-and-loop closure for a more optimal all-around fit.
  • OOahh PLUS: 
    • We took our best-selling slide and maximized the plush factor for a shoe that blends softness and stability. Designed to surround your foot in 6mm more of OOfoam™, the wide, streamlined strap securely locks you in, and the sculpted footbed hugs your sole for a cloud-like feeling. 
  • OOyea PLUS:
    • Our OOyea features a modern two-strap silhouette and peep toe design. The plush feeling under foot offers an additional 6mm of OOfoam compared to our traditional OOahh style and 6mm less of OOfoam compared to our OOmega style. The raised rim cradles your foot in the footbed and with the heel cup and elevated arch, supports your foot with every step. Available in women’s sizing. 
  • OOmega OOahh 
    • OOmega slide options still feature the same proprietary OOfoam™ technology and patented footbed design, and the addition of the MEGA midsole gives you an extra 15mm of impact-absorbing OOfoam™ technology. Available on select women’s slides.  

Thong Sandals

  • OOriginal:
    • Thong style sandal with a medium footbed. The sandal features a thick strap with a large connection to the footbed. This unisex style fits most foot types, and has a D width.
  • OOriginal PLUS: 
    • The next generation of the OOriginal – elevated style featuring a clean, contemporary design and a wider strap for a secure fit. Experience soft, sculpted stability and a plush feel underfoot. Designed to surround your foot in 6mm more of OOfoam™. 
  • OOlala:
    • Thong style sandal with a narrower footbed. The slimmer silhouette design features a thin strap with a small footbed connection. This option is great for narrow feet and is standard B width, available in women’s sizing.
  • OOmega OOlala 
    • Platform OOlala options still feature the same proprietary OOfoam™ technology and patented footbed design, and the addition of the MEGA midsole gives you an extra 15mm of impact-absorbing OOfoam™ technology. Available in women’s sizing. 

Shoes

  • Club+:
    • Designed for recovery without compromise—one shoe that moves seamlessly from polished to casual. Lightweight, versatile, and thoughtfully crafted with a stretch collar, premium leather, and no-tie laces. Just slip on and go. 
  • Stride: Our Stride style utilizes a single piece OOfoam™ footbed, with enhanced features developed to provide the best fit, feel and ride of any OOFOS shoe. A contoured, rounded heel was designed to enhance impact-absorption and sit your foot in, and surrounded by, impact-absorbing OOfoam™ technology – centering your foot and adapting to any stride length. Other enhancements like an antimicrobial footbed liner, pillowed heel and engineered knit collar combine with an external lacing system for optimal freshness and fit. 
  • Zen: Our Zen style features a seamless circular knit upper with Zen bands that hug heel and instep, and the advanced OOmy footbed with our proprietary OOfoam™ technology that absorbs impact like no other. Pull tabs & engineered knit collar allow for ease of entry and effortless wearability, while Zen bands across the heel and instep hug your foot for a secure fit. 

Clogs

  • OOcloog: A closed-toe open-back option with a unisex medium width footbed. The upper portion of the shoe is made of the same foam as the footbed.
  • OOcloog PLUS: This evolution of our classic clog effortlessly blurs the line between comfort and street style with a sleek, contemporary design. The fully-enclosed mule upper wraps the entire forefoot in plush OOfoam™™️ while the sculpted footbed hugs your sole for a cloud-like feeling, with 6mm more of OOfoam™. 

Slippers

  • OOcoozie
    • Sport: Closed-toe option with an open-back heel. Features a medium-width footbed and an upper made of breathable and soft mesh.
    • Thermo: Closed-toe option with an open-back heel. Features a medium-width footbed and an upper made of Primaloft® hi-loft ultra insulation in a modern mule style built for colder temps.

Boots

  • Londoner: The Londoner boot combines OOfoam™  Technology with our insulated wool blend upper, featuring an engineered knit collar for the best fit and feel. This style has our OOmega midsole with an extra 15mm of impact-absorbing OOfoam™.

The styles above also come in a variety of finishes, to pair perfectly with any look. The difference between finishes is just in appearance, these names identify the type of paint, design, or pattern that each style comes in. All OOFOS have the same patented footbed, support, and proprietary OOfoam technology regardless of their finish.

  • Luxe: Hand-painted treatments offer an added note of color and creativity to everyday comfort. Colors and shine bring some extra fun and expression to OOFOS’ classically sleek footbed.
  • Limited: Sold in limited quantities, these exclusive graphic treatments are a great colorful addition to any wardrobe.
  • Sport: Features bold, sporty, hand-painted graphics on the upper strap.
  • Stacked: Elevated color combos for elevated style & mood.
  • Where are OOFOS made?
  • Our shoes are made in Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, and Indonesia depending on style and production capacity.
  • All of our foam footbeds are made in Vietnam or Korea, and for the sneaker-style OOmgs, they are assembled in either Indonesia or Vietnam. Depending on style, some of the pairs produced in Vietnam to be painted or embellished in Taiwan.
  • What width do OOFOS come in?
  • All of our OOFOS products come in a medium width, with the exception of our OOlala. However, based on customer feedback, individuals with a variety of foot widths have found the following options to work for them:
  • Customers looking to accommodate a wider foot have given us feedback that the OOahh Sport Flex and OOmy Stride are most comfortable:
  • OOahh Sport Flex: A slide style sandal with a medium width unisex footbed and an adjustable hook-and-loop closure upper which accommodates wider widths, as well as those with high insteps and arches.
  • OOmy Stride: While it comes in our standard men’s and women’s widths, we have received feedback from customers with wider feet saying this shoe is a great fit for them because of the extra room in the toe box. The engineered knit collar combines with an external lacing system for optimal freshness and fit.
  • Customers with more narrow feet tend to prefer our OOlala thong sandal, OOcloog, or OOmy Zen for the most secure fit: 
  • OOlala: A women’s thong style sandal with a narrower footbed and is a standard B width. The slimmer silhouette design features a thin strap with a small footbed connection. 
  • OOcloog: A closed-toe open-back option. This style has a unisex medium width footbed, but the the upper portion of the shoe is made of the same foam as the footbed which holds your foot securely over the footbed.
  • OOmy Zen: Pull tabs & engineered knit collar allow for ease of entry and effortless wearability, while zen bands across the heel and instep hug your foot for a secure fit. Women’s styles come in a medium B width, and men’s style come in a medium D width. 
  • All of our styles fit true-to-size, unless a sizing recommendation is provided on the product’s page on OOFOS.com. Learn more about the different OOFOS styles HERE
  • Do I need to break in my OOFOS?
  • While it may take some time to get used to the feel of our proprietary OOfoam™ and our patented footbed, OOFOS themselves need minimal to no breaking in. 
  • OOFOS’ unique OOfoam™ material & patented footbed is designed to help you walk with your most natural gait. While the footwear itself should not need breaking in, it may take you a few minutes moving in the OOFOS to settle into this new sensation underfoot – and that’s a good thing! Recovery footwear has a different purpose than active footwear. If what we developed felt the same as everything you had felt before … well, we wouldn’t really be pioneering something new, would we?!
  • That said, if you are having trouble adapting to your new OOFOS, please contact our Customer Care Team and we will be happy to assist in ensuring you have a proper fit & style.
  • What does the W or M next to the size of my shoe mean?
  • Those letters stand for the gender of the size listed, for example a women’s 8 or men’s 6. Especially in our unisex products, W will always denote “women’s” and M will always denote “men’s” to help determine which size is right for you. We do not offer wide width shoes at this time, so all our shoes will be a medium width with the exception of our OOlala sandal which is narrow. Unisex products will have the men’s and women’s sizing equivalents listed together, for example M5W7 or M10W12. The M and W denote which size it is for the respective gender, and not a medium or wide width. 
  • Ship
  • How does preordering an item work?
  • Preorders placed for the Club+ in black will ship on March 2nd, and payment will be collected at the time of purchase. Once shipped, all preorders are eligible for return within 30 days of the ship date. You can check the status of their preorder at any time by visiting our Order Status page.ping
  • How long will it take my OOFOS to ship to me?
  • Your delivery date will depend on the method of shipping you selected at checkout. All orders require 2-3 business days to be processed and packed. Shipping days will begin after the order’s processing time. 
  • We offer standard shipping on every OOFOS.com order. Standard shipping takes around 5-10 business days once the order has finished processing.
  • We also offer one or two day expedited shipping which needs to be selected during checkout before the order is completed. Any order placed with an express shipping option must be delivered to a physical shipping address (no PO boxes). Express shipping may be temporarily unavailable during severe weather events. 
  • Orders are not processed on the weekends or most holidays. Orders placed on these days will be processed on the next business day. This includes express shipping options. 
  • What are my shipping options when I order from OOFOS.com?
  • We offer standard shipping on all orders, and expedited options if you want to feel good even sooner! Join our rewards program Club OOFOS to get free standard shipping on all orders! 
  • You can select from the following options at checkout: 
  • Standard Shipping 5-10 Business Days
    • A shipping service that combines the carrier’s Ground network with final delivery typically provided by the U.S. Postal Service. If you have a PO Box please use your PO Box as the shipping address. Orders will arrive 5-10 business days after the order is processed. 
    • If you’re a member of Club OOFOS, be sure you’re logged in to your account to have free shipping applied automatically. 
  • USPS Priority
    • This service is used for customers in Hawaii, Alaska, APO and US territories. Please use your PO Box shipping address if applicable. Orders will arrive 5-10 business days after the order is processed. 
  • 2 Day
    • A 2 Day shipment will arrive on the second business day after the order is processed, if placed before the 12 pm EST shipping cutoff. If the order is placed before the shipping cutoff on Monday the shipment will arrive on Wednesday. Please allow one business day for processing. We do not deliver on the weekends.
  • 1 Day
    • A 1 Day shipment will arrive on the next business day. If the order is placed before the 12 pm EST shipping cutoff on Monday the order will arrive on Tuesday. Please allow one business day for processing. We do not deliver on the weekends.
  • Express shipping may be temporarily unavailable during severe weather events. Express options described above as 2 Day and 1 Day must be placed by 12 pm EST/ 9 am PST to ship same business day. Express Orders placed after this time will ship the next business day. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. All orders require 1-3 business days of processing time at our warehouse prior to shipping. Any order placed with an express shipping option must be delivered to a physical shipping address (no PO boxes). Express shipping is not eligible for a refund unless it is delayed by the carrier. A signature may be required.
